XVII Tallinn Design Festival
is soon at the doorstep so here are some examples on how you can participate in the festival!

1) Become a festival satellite

Planning to organise exhibitions, workshops, installations, product presentations or open days in your design or architecture office, store or gallery during the festival in September? New and creative ventures are welcome at Tallinn Design Festival to offer the visitor a rich program! Take a look at satellite info.

2) Participate in the Design Street summer edition

The 11th Design Street will take place on the 27th of August 2022 and is waiting for shoppers, plus former and future friends in the Haven Kakumäe. In addition to high-quality Estonian design, you will also be able to enjoy live music and magnificent street food. The summer edition of Design Street will take place as a part of Tallinn Maritime Days 2022. Book your trading spot HERE!

3) Take part in the festival's Design Street

XVII Tallinn Design Festival's weekend (24th and 25th of September) will also see the opening of the Design Street, where no driver’s license is needed as there's plenty of room for wanderers on foot!  Walk through the streets and discover lots of great fashion-, accessory-, product- and interior design. All creators, designers and artists are invited to present and sell their creations at the Design Street: register early!

4) Join Tallinn Design Festival as a volunteer

The festival is largely made possible thanks to our brilliant volunteers - "design nighters", whom we look forward to join our team this year as well! The official call for XVII Tallinn Design Festival volunteers is HERE! Our volunteer manager Sirli gladly accepts all the helping hands and minds and makes sure you get the most suitable task!

5) Pre-register for the international conference

The international conference "Green-Being: WTF?*" will challenge greenwashing by presenting best practices and inspiring solutions from designers and product and service developers. The keynote speakers will include John Thackara, design-thinker and writer, Reet Aus PhD, fashion innovator, Paula Nerlich, material designer, and Eray Sertaç Ersayin, board member of the World Design Organisation (WDO). To secure a seat, pre-register: space is limited!

6) Apply for the product design award BRUNO

The Estonian Association of Designers wishes to present innovative, high-standard new products to the public that would prompt Estonians to consume domestic design and motivate entrepreneurs to involve professional designers in product development. The nominees' works will formed into an exhibition in Baltic Manufactory, which will be open during the Tallinn Design Festival. The awarding ceremony will take place at the Estonian Design Awards gala on September 23rd also in Baltic Manufactory. Read more on Estonian Association of Designers' homepage.

7) Become a partner

If you would like to contribute to the continued success of Tallinn Design Festival and become our partner, we would be happy to listen to your ideas for cooperation: no idea is too far-fetched to be implemented!
