Tallinn Design Festival, celebrating 20 years this autumn, announces visual competition
For the second year in a row, Tallinn Design Festival launches a public visual competition.
XX Tallinn Design Festival will take place from 29 September to 5 October 2025 in the Krulli Quarter. This year's festival explores how design can enrich everyone's lives, creating a world where design based on caring and humanity is the norm, not the exception. How can we make design less abstract and more understandable, inclusive and accessible? Hence the title of this year's festival – Design for All. The exact slogan may still change!
Entries will be judged on relevance, professionalism and distinction. In addition to the aesthetic style, the ease of use of the visual (or elements of it) on different media and in animation is important.
Tallinn Design Festival's visual would be an invitation to the creative sector and at the same time would not alienate general audience and the youth by being overly artistic.
Participants are expected to provide fonts and color palettes, and visual designs in the following form:
event cover banner (png, 820 x 312 pixels) landscape
A2 poster (pdf) portrait
Compulsory:
slogan: Design for All
dates: 29.09.-05.10.2025
venue: Krulli kvartal
#tallinndesignfestival
Tallinn Design Festival's logo, the colors of which can be changed
