LOCATION:
Friends, graphic artist Evi Tihemets (1932) and photographer Kaupo Kikkas (1983), meet in the same exhibition space.
Since the 1950s, Tihemets has captured the local landscape and traces of human presence, seeking the essence of Estonian mysticism. Decades later, Kaupo Kikkas made similar journeys. Tihemets was one of the first to recognise a similar perception of the world and art, which may connect two people here and now, as well as across time.
The exhibition presents over 60 years of
Estonian art history through the works of two artists from different
generations.
